Day 1
Arrival at Mane Bhanjang
Arrive at Bagdogra airport and transfer to Mane Bhanjang, the border town of India and Nepal near Darjeeling. Singalila National Park is in Darjeeling District; West Bengal along the border of India and Nepal, The Park covers an area of 78.6 square kilometers and its elevation ranges from around 2100m to around 3600m (Sandakphu). Singalila NP is more referred to as the lesser Himalayas with mighty Kangchenjunga (8,586m) on its backdrop, the third highest peak on earth.
Day 2-6
Singhalila NP
We will spend birding in Singalila National Park near Tumlong and Ghairebas and we will be birding both in India and Nepal with a bird guide each day trackers will go after the elusive Red Pandas and given the time of 5 days we will manage to see and photograph this wonderful animal if the season is right. Singalila is also rich in birds species like spectacular Satyr Tragopan, Blood Pheasant, Rufous-throated Partridge , Hill Partridge , Red-headed Bullfinch, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Darjeeling Woodpecker, Yellow-billed Blue Magpie, White-collared Blackbird, White-browed Bush Robins, Slender-billed Scimitar Babbler, Streak-breasted Scimitar Babbler, Great Parrotbill, Spotted Laughingthrush, Alpine Accentor, Himalayan Griffon, Fire-tailed Sunbird and many more.
Day 7
After Morning session of birding head to Bagdogra airport.
